Why Pamir?

Mainly located in Tajikistan, the Pamir Mountain Range is sometimes referred to as the “roof of the world”. From this pinnacle spreads the four great ranges of Central Asia - the Himalayas, Hindu Kush, Tian Shan and Karakoram ranges. For more than one thousand years, travelers, venturers and great leaders going to and from China have passed through the Pamirs amidst their journey to success. All routes of the Silk Road into and out of China pass through this range. To this day, more than 20 million people live in mountainous areas stretching from Central Asia to China, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
