Bilingual Researcher/Junior Paralegal

Pamir Law Group is a US style international law firm and consulting group based in Greater China with offices in Taipei, Shanghai and Beijing. PLG represents multi-national corporations, Taiwan and PRC based clients in cross-border transactions.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above from a recognized university in the U.S., U.K. or Commonwealth countries with a desire to build a legal/consulting career
  2. Experience working at an international law firm, consulting or accounting firm or multi-national corporation preferred, but not required
  3. Excellent communications required with ability to explain local concepts to foreign clients, verbally and in writing
  4. Superior spoken and written English and Chinese skills essential
  5. Must have proactive positive work attitude, leadership skills, self-initiative, high EQ and team player mentality
  6. Must be outgoing, social and optimistic in interpersonal dealings
  7. Must be detail-oriented, maintain a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task and be eager to learn
  8. Possess initiative and practical business sense and commitment to grow with the firm’s developing cross-border practice focused on Greater China
  9. Ability to be creative, flexible and work “outside the box” mentally to provide both legally required as well as practical business solutions.
  10. Ability to work seamlessly in multi-cultural environment
  11. Ability to travel when needed, mostly in the Asian region
  12. The position involves working closely with lawyers, international business consultants, administrators to handle international corporate transactions

The position also will involve supporting various business development initiatives of the Firm, such as event planning and management and liaising with various networking organizations.
