Pamir professionals provide business leaders and decision-makers with "key success advice" including (i) strategic insights, (ii) implementing practical business solutions. In today's competitive environment, many companies and their executives have benefited from such "key success advice." Pamir Group supports multi-national leaders that are localizing and globalizing in Greater China.
Pamir professionals are known for their excellence in corporate and commercial matters in Taiwan and China, non-performing loan and re-organization work, technology and private equity matters, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance and dispute resolution matters. In addition, Pamir professionals act as general counsel and co-counsel to many companies and international firms in the Asia Pacific region. We are committed to strengthening our clients' position by enhancing their ability to operate locally with "home turf advantage" as well as to assist companies in their globalization and market penetration into and out from Greater China." Nicholas V. Chen stated that the formation of Pamir Law Group reflects the increasing business flows between east and west and the growing need for market driven practical solutions and advice for international companies coming to Greater China as well as Greater China companies competing in the world market.
The name of the Group comes from the famous mountain range in central Asia which straddles all the traditional Silk Road routes into and out of China. Marco Polo traveled successfully to China for the first time in 1271 through the Pamirs. We believe that many multinational companies today will also successfully penetrate the China market or enter the world markets with the critical assistance of Pamir professionals. The historical flows of people and business into and out of China have passed through the Pamirs for centuries. We believe that Pamir professionals will provide valuable assistance in the decades to come to their China clients expanding internationally as well as to their international multinational clients operating in Greater China.
LI Wen, famous real estate and finance lawyer of the leading firm of Li Wen and Partners based in Beijing and Shanghai welcomed the establishment of Pamir Law Group as it will enhance the flows of business between China and Taiwan as well as other regions. "We have many clients that are looking for enhanced opportunities to cooperate with Taiwan counterparts as well as eventually operating and investing in Taiwan."
JIN Chun Qin, the leader of Suzhou's leading law firm Fang Ben expressed his belief that with the establishment of Pamir Group, closer cooperation will be possible to support Taiwan and multi-national clients in the Yangtze River Delta area that are seeking excellence in international legal and consultancy services as well as powerful local support in Suzhou and Shanghai.
MA Qun, the leader of JC Master Law Offices in Nanjing and Shanghai and Hainan welcomed the development as it brings together the possibility of Taiwan and other firms based in China which require IPO options in China to have coordinated activities between their Taiwan headquarters as well as their China operations. This will tie the decision-makers in Taiwan with the field teams in China.
LI Hai Bo of Tianjin's Winners Jing Nuo firm looked forward to expanded cooperation between the Pamir professionals and the Tianjin multinational companies in the Tianjin Economic Development Area.
YU Jian Yang, a partner in China's largest intellectual property law firm and patent and trademark office notes that the growing importance for companies to protect the "crown jewels" of intellectual property will lead to greater increased business flows and cooperation between Pamir's clients and the China market. We have cooperated successfully on numerous enforcement matters in China with Pamir professionals and we look forward to making further progress in jailing counterfeiters as well as further progressive law reform. The collective trend is to assist clients not only protect their intellectual property but also to manage and mine such assets so that lawyers become actively involved with their clients as profit centers.
