Golden Bridges announced a partnership with the China Children and Teenagers' Fund and the Beijing Shuren-Ribet Private School to provide ongoing support to the “ShuMeng-ErMa” program, which provides housing and education to 126 impoverished Qiang minority children who were rescued from collapsed schools in the Wenchuan and Mao Counties in Sichuan.

Nicholas Chen presented AALDEF’s 2009 Justice in Action Award to civil rights lawyer Dale Minami at its 35th anniversary charity dinner at Pier 60 in New York City before 700 attendees. Minami headed the legal team that set aside US vs. Korematsu, one of the US’s most infamous Supreme Court cases violating civil liberties of citizens during World War II.

Jason Blatt and Jennifer Atkinson coached the National Taiwan University Law School moot court team that competed in the 2008 Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition.
