Partner Nicholas Chen delivered a presentation titled “Game-Changing Implications of China/Taiwan Peace Initiatives on World/Asian Markets” as part of Hedge Funds Care’s “Cocktails & Commentary” speaker series in New York City.
Hedge Funds Care (HFC) is a grantmaking public charity that supports efforts to prevent and treat child abuse. Funds are raised primarily through annual Open Your Heart to the Children benefits planned by a regional “Committee of Hearts” in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Toronto, London and the Cayman Islands and personal donations. Funds raised are granted locally through a rigorous “Request for Proposal” process, which identifies programs providing best of practice services focused on saving children from the trauma of abuse. An academic consultant then monitors each program to ensure effective utilization of the Hedge Funds Care grant.
