Partner Nicholas V. Chen will speak at a dinner event organized by the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations on November 9, 2011 at the Millennium Scottsdale Resort & Villas in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Nick’s presentation, titled “Back to the Future: Hindsight, Insight and Foresight: Lessons from China/Taiwan History”, will focus on bilateral U.S.-China relations, and the role that Taiwan plays in this multi-faceted, highly complex relationship. The presentation will also examine China/Taiwan history for lessons on the pitfalls, potential, precedents and probabilities to create a cross-straits “Peace Treaty with Chinese Characteristics.”
