A large European Multinational Corporation  (“MNC”) needed to acquire a Taiwan target to serve its European customers.

Our Approach

We helped the client evaluate a number of potential acquisition targets. Working closely with the client’s Asian offices and their legal and financial personnel in Europe, we structured a transaction that substantially mitigated all commercial and legal risks and allowed the transaction to move forward.

The Result

The Taiwan acquisition filled a gap in the client’s Asian operations allowing the Asian business managers to achieve their mandates, all at a level of risk acceptable to the European head office.
