The Challenge

An international telecommunications group made a “first call” to help develop a strategy to bid for both a national cellular operating license and a regional cellular license when the Taiwan telecommunications market opened to international players.

Our Approach

We organized an 18 party consortium and developed, managed and executed a comprehensive strategy to bid against 32 other international consortia. The entire process took eighteen months.

The Result

Both bids were successful and have resulted in annual revenues above US$500 million for the client.
